Internship

Heifer South Africa is making a contribution towards affording school leavers and young graduates an opportunity to be exposed to real work situations through its internship programme.  While in the programme, interns are being placed in the field of development practice.  This includes on-the-job training in office administration, community development facilitation, training, environmental regeneration, enterprise development and project monitoring and evaluation.  Interns contribute their learning to Heifer’s work by teaming up with Heifer Staff in performing the day-today functions of the organization’s field work.

Heifer SA welcomes volunteers and intern from South Africa and abroad and encourages them to participate in its activities. This is however subject to availability of internship programme funding
